Your Data Stays in Your Browser

Parquet Explorer processes all files entirely in your browser using WebAssembly (DuckDB-WASM). Your Parquet files, CSV files, and query results never leave your device. We have no access to your data.

What We Collect

If you use the free tier (no account):

• We collect nothing. No cookies, no tracking, no analytics beyond basic page views.

If you create an account (Pro):

• Email address — from Google/GitHub OAuth, used for account identification
• Name and avatar — from your OAuth provider, displayed in the app
• Subscription status — whether you have an active Pro plan

Third-Party Services

• Supabase — Authentication and account storage. Supabase Privacy Policy
• Paddle — Payment processing (Pro subscriptions). Paddle Privacy Policy
• Vercel — Website hosting. Vercel Privacy Policy

Local Storage

We use your browser's localStorage to save:

• Language preference
• Query history (last queries you ran)
• Saved queries (queries you explicitly save)

This data never leaves your browser. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Data Retention

Account data is retained as long as your account is active. If you cancel your Pro subscription, your account data is retained but you revert to the free tier. To delete your account entirely, contact us.
